The Rules of Golf
The Rules of Golf can seem daunting to learn. One of the benefits of joining the NCGA is a copy of the Rules of Golf from the USGA. It's not the easiest book to read, but it might be something handy to have around in your bag. You can also read it online.
The Royal and Ancient (R&A) Golf Club of Saint Andrews and the US Golf Association work together to standardize the Rules of Golf so any information from the R&A is applicable to US Golf. The R&A has a very nice, small, 2 page pdf on their site called Golf Rules in Brief. If you are not familiar with the Rules of Golf, then I highly recommend reviewing this document.
The NCGA has volunteers available for us to have a review at the annual club meeting coming up this fall.
